Dusty Kilgore and Dallas Davis-Graydon, our owners, have more that 35 years of collective experience in operating their own insurance agencies. In 2020, they joined their agencies together as a partnership and opened Southern Insurance Professionals, Inc to offer clients a broader coverage with more options in buying the proper policy to meet their individual need.

Dallas Davis-Graydon,

Dallas was born in Mobile, AL. In 2002, she moved to Huntsville where she opened an insurance agency with Nationwide Insurance and has proudly served the insurance needs of the people of North Alabama since.
Dallas began her career in the insurance industry in 1995, where she worked as a customer service agent for another insurance carrier. After graduating from college with a bachelor’s degree in business management, she became an associate agent with Nationwide Insurance that led her to have her insurance agency. She is licensed in Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, and Missouri.
As a principal-agent, she has been a Champion Qualifier and a Life University recipient. In 2017, Dallas, along with her business partner, Dusty Kilgore, opened Southern Insurance Professionals, Inc. where they specialize in all lines of insurance.
Being appointed with a wide variety of insurance companies, it is Dallas and Dusty's goal to have a policy available for every person in need. With the knowledge and experience that they bring into one agency, they have a clear and precise goal of serving both various personal and business insurance clients to the fullest.
Dallas is married to Joel Graydon, and they have two beautiful sons, Ezra and Asa. She and her family devote their time advocating for the rights and equality of people with Down syndrome. They look forward to the day when there is so much awareness of people with Down syndrome that there is acceptance.

Dusty was born in Anniston and moved to Madison, AL in 2002. He graduated from Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
Dusty began his insurance career in 1999. In 2002, he opened an insurance agency in Huntsville with Nationwide Insurance where he and his agency developed a quality relationship and stable business with the people of the community. He is licensed and appointed to provide insurance in the states of Alabama, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, South Carolina, Montana And Louisiana and is eager to serve you.
In 2017, he and his business partner, Dallas Davis-Graydon, opened Southern Insurance Professionals, Inc. They are an independent broker appointed with many insurance companies that offer a broad array of products to serve both personal and business insurance clients. Together, they have an extensive knowledge base of the industry and can help you tailor the perfect policy to meet your individual needs.
Dusty is married to Jennifer and keeps busy between dance and lacrosse with his twins, Presley and Carter. He is a certified coach in CrossFit, and co-owner of CrossFit Invigorate, where he helps people meet their health and fitness goals.

Sandy was born and raised in Elora, TN, about 25 miles from the Huntsville area. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Athens State University. In 1989, she began her insurance career as an agent in an independent agent’s office in Fayetteville, TN.
In 1990, she moved to a State Farm Insurance agent’s office in Huntsville, AL as an agent and worked there for 26 years. Sandy started to work for Dallas in February 2017 and has been an associate agent with her agency since then. Sandy's length of service in the insurance industry brings an expertise in personal insurance second to none.
Sandy is happily married to Calvin. They have a blended family of five children; two sons, three daughters, four beautiful granddaughters, and one grandson. She enjoys camping outdoors, vacationing in the mountains, watching her husband drive a race car, and spending time with her family.

Kelly Deford

Kelly was born in Mobile, Alabama. Kelly and her husband, Shannon, have two daughters, Kasey and Karson and 2 grandchildren, Harper, and Hayden. Kelly loves that her grandchildren live so close to her, and she enjoys getting to spend time with them. She is also passionate about travel and SEC Football.
Kelly began her insurance career in 1997 as a Customer Service Representative where she was awarded many times, but her most prestigious award as a CSR was for writing the Most Auto Insurance in the State of Alabama. In 2008 she became an Agent and over the next 10 years was awarded as a Top Producer 9 times. Since our company launched in 2020, Kelly has been recognized with our carriers, as a Silver Producer for Homeowners Insurance in our Coastal Area, and she was recognized as a top Bond Producer with Nationwide. Kelly continues to excel in the Bond Market for Southern Insurance Professionals, Inc.
Over the years Kelly has worked with several community projects such as the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation’s Bowl-a-Thon, Special Needs Assistance Program, Camp Fundraising Program, Bringing Up Down Syndrome - Buddy Walk and the Autism Awareness Program. She feels the best way to be involved with these organizations and remain civic-minded is by volunteering her time to the Saraland Lions Club. She feels being a mentor to the local Leo Clubs is a fantastic way to be a positive influence on the next generation. Kelly is also an Ambassador for the Saraland Chamber of Commerce where she enjoys assisting the Jr Ambassador Program in helping them achieve their goals for shaping their careers and future.

Judy Reed is the customer service representative at Southern Insurance Professionals’ Mobile Location. Judy lives in Satsuma, Alabama and has been married to her husband, Paul, for almost 30 years.
Judy and Paul have one son, Ben. Judy has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Management Information Systems from the University of Mobile. She began her insurance career with Southern Insurance Professionals in December of 2020 and has been a huge asset to our team.
Judy’s skills are invaluable to the daily processes of each client. She tells us that she loves continuing to learn something new every day!

About Tyler & Ashtin
Ashtin began her career in insurance in 2008 as a customer service representative for the Dusty Kilgore Insurance Agency. In 2009, she received her property and casualty insurance license, and moved into the role of Associate Agent. During this time, Ashtin received a certificate in Acquisition and Contract Management from Athens State University. In 2012, she moved to an independent insurance agency in Scottsboro, AL, and worked there till the birth of their daughter, Addison. Ashtin became a stay-at-home mom, while Tyler worked at PPG Aerospace in Huntsville till 2022. During Tyler’s 11 years at PPG, he worked his way up to production team lead. In 2022, Tyler decided on a career move into the insurance industry. He received his property and casualty insurance license. Together, Ashtin and Tyler decided to join Southern Insurance Professionals, and open a satellite office in Woodville.
